The Chakra Vigyan by Jeewan Vigyan program, recently held in Concord, California, from June 8 to June 14, 2024, was a transformative event that saw over 150 participants from the Nepali community in the San Francisco Bay Area. Organized by Shree Mukund Dawadi and Bijaya Subedi, the program was led by esteemed Gurudev Shree L.P. Bhanu Sharma and Ramesh Nepal, who guided attendees through a comprehensive exploration of the seven chakras and their associated benefits.
The intensive seven-day program, costing $499 per person, focused on restoring and balancing the body’s chakra energy points through various practices, including Yog Abhyas, Pranayam, and meditation techniques. These practices are designed to enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being by ensuring the smooth flow of energy through the body’s energy centers, or chakras. Each chakra, from the root to the crown, plays a crucial role in overall health and harmony.
Participants experienced a significant boost in happiness and energy, which is attributed to the effective techniques and practices taught during the program. This rejuvenation continued beyond the event, as attendees were encouraged to engage in a follow-up regimen of daily practice for 128 days to fully integrate the benefits into their lives.
The event was noted for its excellent volunteer support and program management, which contributed to its success. For those who missed the California program, another session is scheduled in Ohio from June 23 to June 29, 2024, organized by the Global Bhutanese Hindu Organization. This upcoming program is expected to follow a similar format and fee structure, aimed at raising funds for the Bhutanese community.
Currently, the Gurudevs are in North Carolina, completing a two-day trainers’ training program, which further underscores their commitment to spreading the teachings of Chakra Vigyan across the United States.
